Data Sources and Analysis Techniques

From this page you may learn the basics about the various instruments and data sources used to analyze volcanic features on the surfaces of both Io and the Earth. Click on any of the links at the left that end in the word "data" to learn more about the specific instruments and the data they acquired. Each of these pages also has one or more links to sites with detailed information on each of the data sources, such as the official webpages of the specific instruments and/or scientific missions (e.g., Voyager or Galileo).
